Councillor Bateman requested an update on the request to have the Niagara Regional Police Chief attend a future Regional Council meeting to address the rise in gender based violence and to provide a briefing on the Niagara Regional Police Services' (NRPS) policies and practices regarding hate crimes. Ann-Marie Norio, Regional Clerk, confirmed that this request is being coordinated.
