In accordance with the notice and submission deadline requirements of Sections 18.1(a) and 11.3, respectively, of Niagara Region’s Procedural By-law, the Regional Clerk received from Councillor Gibson a motion to be brought forward for consideration at the August 26, 2021, Council meeting respecting Recruitment of Permanent Medical Officer of Health.

In accordance with the notice and submission deadline requirements of Sections 18.1(b) and 11.3, respectively, of Niagara Region’s Procedural By-law, the Regional Clerk received from Councillor Foster a motion to be brought forward for consideration at the August 26, 2021, Council meeting respecting Request to Review and Amend Section 128 (Rate of Speed) of the Highway Traffic Act.

In accordance with Section 18.2 of Niagara Region’s Procedural By-law, the Regional Clerk received from Councillor Ip a motion to be brought forward for consideration at the August 26, 2021, Regional Council meeting respecting National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.


In order for Council to consider the above motion at this meeting, an affirmative vote of two-thirds of the Members present will be required.
