In accordance with the notice and submission deadline requirements of Sections 18.1(a) and 11.3, respectively, of Niagara Region’s Procedural By-law, the Regional Clerk received from Councillor Gibson a motion to be brought forward for consideration at the August 26, 2021, Council meeting respecting Recruitment of Permanent Medical Officer of Health.


Due to time constraints, Council did not consider this motion at the August 26, 2021, Regional Council meeting. 

In accordance with the notice and submission deadline requirements of Sections 18.1(b) and 11.3, respectively, of Niagara Region’s Procedural By-law, the Regional Clerk received from Councillor Foster a motion to be brought forward for consideration at the August 26, 2021, Council meeting respecting Request to Review and Amend Section 128 (Rate of Speed) of the Highway Traffic Act.


Due to time constraints, Council did not consider this motion at the August 26, 2021, Regional Council meeting.

A by-law to approve the submission of an application to Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation (“OILC”) for the long-term financing of certain capital work(s) of The Regional Municipality of Niagara (the “municipality”); and to authorize the entering into of a rate offer letter agreement pursuant to which the municipality will issue debentures to OILC.

A by-law to approve the submission of an application to Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation (“OILC”) for the long-term financing of certain capital work(s) of the corporation of the City of Niagara Falls (the “lower-tier municipality”) through the issue of debentures by The Regional Municipality of Niagara (the “upper tier municipality”; and to authorize the entering into of a rate offer letter agreement pursuant to which the upper-tier municipality will issue debentures on behalf of the lower-tier municipality to OILC.

A by-law to accept, assume and dedicate part of lots 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7, Concession Broken Front Louth, in the City of St. Catharines as part of Regional Road No. 87 (Lakeshore Road West).

A by-law to amend the amount of authorized long-term financing (1-25 years) as approved by By-law 2019-97 and By-law 2019-99 for Niagara Region Capital Projects.

A by-law to adopt, ratify and confirm the actions of Regional Council at its meeting held on September 23, 2021.
